Highlights
- DAOs are a community-driven experience; you need to learn how to build and harness a community.
- Consider the long-term sustainability of the community
- When building a DAO, have a long-term vision perspective: 10-30 years.
- When DAOs get bigger and people vote, not everyone is informed about what they are voting on, but they tend to vote “yes” on a proposal anyway.
- Have a safety mechanism in place to make changes or revert back on decisions that do not work
- Gamified governance will be common in the DAO ecosystem
- We still don’t have a holistic tooling solution to help manage DAOs effortlessly.
- Outdated regulation is hindering innovation.
- When writing whitepapers, be careful about the terms you use. Don’t borrow words (ex. interest) that have clear definitions in a different context. This could cause issues with the regulators.
